How to Play
Shift your pieces according to their individual movement rules. The General can only move one square at a time within the nine-pointed star. Guards are limited to diagonal moves within the palace. Bishops move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot move to the opponent's side. Knights move one square straight and then one square diagonally, if not impeded by adjacent pieces. Chariots move any number of squares straight, making them powerful attackers. Cannons move like chariots but must require a screen piece to capture exactly one piece. Soldiers move forward one square and gain new movement after crossing the river. Take the opponent's general to win the game. Plan your moves carefully to checkmate the computer opponent.
